Singing bowls for special applications

Special requirements in the practical application of sound massage in the areas of work with the disabled and the medical and healing professions require special solutions. From the practical experience and the reflection of the work with handicapped people and in clinics, these solutions were developed by Peter Hess in co-operation with Michael Konrath. This new form is also helpful in the sound massage with animals (for example horses).

Due to this special construction, a handle (inside or outside) or an eyelet can be safely attached to the singing bowl by simple manipulations.

The different possibilities of combination of this singing bowl:

• the special screw joint allows very easily for a handle to be attached (inside or outside) to the base of the singing bowl
• Similarly, a loop can be attached to the singing bowl so it can be hung up. Like this, it can securely be hung over the body of the patient
• the small hole in the base of the singing bowl does not cause any disadvantages, it can be used in a normal sound massage as it is habitually done
• All fixings for the different possibilities of application are supplied with each singing bowl

Possibilities of application of singing bowls with a handle (inside and outside)

• the singing bowl can be hold vertically and horizontally with the utmost degree of security, in a way that allows the vibrancy to be transmitted or withhold partially (handle inside or outside)
• because of the secure grip the handle allows for, it is much easier to transmit a well-dosed touch on the body (handle inside)
• the handle itself can be used to transmit vibration to selected points (handle outside)
• holding the singing bowl on its handle facilitates well-directed scooping and diversion from the human aura (etheric energy field surrounding the body)
